David Rodack

David’s practice involves many areas of intellectual property law, including preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patents, disputes concerning patents, trademarks and copyrights, and licensing. He counsels clients and renders formal opinions concerning the infringement/noninfringement of patents, the validity/invalidity of patents, and the design of products and processes to avoid infringement.

David’s patent application experience includes a wide range of software, electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical technologies. His experience includes video/audio processing, antenna design, computer operating systems, computer software applications, computer processor and memory architectures, graphics processor design, HVAC and petroleum industry control systems and associated electromechanical/mechanical devices, micro-machined device fabrication techniques and structures, radar systems, wireless communication devices, power amplifiers, lithium ion-based batteries, medical imaging, remote healthcare systems and devices, and agricultural equipment and associated controls.

David has approximately 14 years of professional experience in the engineering field having worked in engineering and management roles for several large corporations, including Invensys Building Systems, ITT Fluid Handling, and Panduit Corporation. He also worked at the intellectual property law firms of Merchant & Gould and Thomas, Kayden, Horstemeyer & Risley, LLP, both in Atlanta, Georgia.
